    I tried using my maxisys on toyota higlander 2001-2003 on several ocassion and it won't communicate.
    Any solution?

     if I have communication problems I enter the vin myself under automatic selection and if that fails I use manual selection.  Manual selection has worked on most cars though sometimes it asks questions I don't know the answer to so I guess and re-guess if necessary.

     I just scanned an 02 rav 4 and suprisingly auto id worked.  only 2 modules eng and srs. thought there would be more.  anyway maybe there is no power at obd connector?

     Scanned a 03 highlander today.  Auto vin read worked and it auto scanned 8 modules before getting stuck at 77% on drivers door module.  I was able to work withthe ecm.
